The seals on your vehicles' shocks are protected by the dust boots (AKA strut bellows). If these boots are torn or damaged, dust and debris will eventually damage the seal that keeps the oil in the shock housing, causing the oil to leak out, rendering it useless.

If you happen to notice that your rear strut dust boots are damaged, or if you're planning on replacing your struts, install a pair of these OEM boots to protect your investment.
