The increased clamp load from the heavy duty pressure plate ensures improved clutch engagement with marginal increase in pedal pressure. The hybrid friction material is a full face Feramic (Sintered Iron) lining on the flywheel side and a high metal content Organic lining on the pressure plate side. Engagement is positive yet buffered due to the high graphite content unique to Feramic facings.

In comparison to the stock dual mass flywheel (DMF), the single mass flywheel (SMF) included with this kit will cause more noise to come from the transmission. The noise will be most apparent while the engine is idling, with the transmission in neutral, and the clutch pedal disengaged. As soon as the clutch pedal is depressed, and/or the clutch is engaged, most of that noise will disappear. This is normal for any SMF replacement kit, and can be considered the “down side” of the conversion until the user becomes accustomed to it.

Kit includes Feramic-lined clutch disc, pressure plate bolts and lock washers, clutch centering tool, and aftermarket OEM plastic release bearing. For those that would prefer having a metal release bearing, please select this option below when adding the kit to your cart.
