Have your front wipers stopped working? There's generally two reasons for it. The wiper linkage may be seized up from corrosion in the pivots, or it could be the front wiper motor. Unlike most conventional wiper motors, this OEM motor has the control module built in to it, the wiper control module is built in to the motor, so really there are three possible reasons for the failure.

To find out if the motor is still in good shape, remove the linkage that connect to the motor under the rain tray cover, and turn the motor on. If the splined pivot spins freely, the wiper linkage is at fault, and should be replaced. If the motor doesn’t move, there may be an electrical issue, and further diagnosis will be required.
